A Winter Poem

 

It's winter in Pennsylvania

And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

 
Oh, how I love Pennsylvania

When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Pennsylvania

I'm frozen to the ground!!

A NOLA New Years

Sorry for leaving without telling anyone. I had 10 minutes to decide and 10 minutes to pack.

Of course you KNOW I do everything on impulse! 22 hours later I was in New Orleans on New Years Eve.

 

Such fun! And I have to tell you, it’s NOT a city in which you make New Year resolutions!! I guess now that I’m home, I’ll have to get busy on those resolutions! (groan…)
