Library Night

Being a holiday and a vacation week, I didn’t have a library stop tonight but I do have some new things to share with you.

First, Testimony is a book I would definitely pass on to friends to read.

I read this book cover to cover in one day. It’s a griping tale of two 7 year old girls, best friends, that go missing from their homes on the same day. I would pass it on for friends to read.

This is my novel for December. I’ll let you know how it goes…

THIS is one of the best fiber arts book I’ve seen in a long time! I took off for Joann’s with my 50% coupon in hand after looking at the first 4 projects! Why the editors picked that cover is beyond me as it doesn’t do the book justice whatsoever. The 23 projects range from art dolls to love letters by different designers and includes 29 more photos in a gallery format. LOVE this book!

Hope you had an exceptional Tuesday!

  1. I urge anyone with a teenager to read Testimony. It is a cautionary tale for parents, about what can happen to even "good kids" when alcohol enters the picture. I'll look for your other recommendations.

  2. Sandy,
I love book recommendations. Thank you for these. I'm going to reserve the first 3 from my library...hopefully they have them. I'll let you know how I fare with them!

  3. Hey Dear,
How have you been doing? I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.. I also wanted to say, That once these holidays are over we really really do have to meet up with each other.. I feel like these months have been flying by to quick.. So lets make a pack to make sure we make arrangements to meet up.. I can use some girl time(hehe)....
    Hope all is well..

  4. Sandy, I'm so glad you left a comment today, so I could come visit you. I see you're also a book lover (I'm always on the look out for a good book), and I love your Mondays with Mother series. I'll definitely be back.

  5. Thanks for the sweet comments on our blog. Yes, our apron is very special. Your block with the pink heart is so creative and is as sweet as a tsp of sugar. I love looking at its tiny touches. Did you actually sew the buttonhole stitches on that teensy flower? I'm pinning my apron up on the wall above the sewing machine.

  6. Sandy, I can't wait to dig into these books! I have been a bad blog visitor lately. I hope to do better. BTW My Big Lots trees bleached out in 15 minutes! Did you buy the $6.00 bag? If you can't find them there I will see if they still have some here and send them to you. I even posted some of them today. Thanks so much for the package too. You were the best roomie I ever had. We had such fun I still laugh thinking of some of the things we talked about. Love from down river, Pam
