Didn’t think I’d have a library post tonight, but lucky for you all, books were waiting for me this evening.
And even though it’s March, I wanted to share this Christmas book with you.
I guess I read the description of this book somewhere. This is the author’s collection of Christmas imagery from postcards, books and magazines.
The author categorized the collection by subject (i.e., snowmen, angels, santas) and whether the cards were postally used and the year.
I was surprised the majority of cards were printed in Germany and most were used between 1910 and 1920.
If you enjoy vintage paper ephemera, this book has vintage eye candy galore!
Hope you had a great day!
I am a vintage postcard/greeting card addict! What a great book! Glad your new pile showed up. What would you do without a stack of books? Hugs, Pam
